Daniel Johnston


"Daniel Johnston, a super hero in Paris" is a lo-fi movie directed in 2007 by the french artist  Olivier Nourisson in Paris when Daniel Johnston, the american musician and artist, was presenting his drawings in a personal exhibition.


Born in Sacramento in 1961, Daniel Johnston  collaborated with number of artists like Jad Fair (a founding member of Half Japanese, who've also done Daniel's songs), the Butthole Surfers, Bongwater/Shimmydisc guru Kramer, and members of Sonic Youth. He produced lot of homemade lo-fi cassettes & CDs including his songs, playing piano and organ.
